The REALTORS® Land Institute is an affiliate of the over million-member National Association of REALTORS®. It is the only branch of the REALTOR® family focused on land brokerage transactions of farms and ranches, undeveloped tracts of land, transitional and development land, subdivision and wholesaling of lots, and site selection and assemblage of land parcels.
Members of the organization specialize in land transactions related to:
- farms, ranches, recreational, and other specialty land properties;
- undeveloped tracts of land;
- transitional and development land;
- subdivision and lot wholesaling;
- site selection and assemblage of land parcels.
The Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation
The Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation is the esteemed credential of the REALTORS® Land Institute. The designation is attained only by those land specialists who demonstrate the highest levels of knowledge, experience, and professionalism.
To achieve the ALC designation, land sales experts must complete a rigorous educational program and fulfill extensive experience requirements.
